I said I would be starting a Book Of The Month, to share some of my favorite reads, & here is the first one for October:
I have to say, "Cane River", by Lalita Tademy. It is one of my favorite books & rightly so. It is based on Ms. Tademy's actual family archives. A good, great tale, actually of her family's survival through slavery. A MUST read & you won't be sorry!!
