"But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us."

1 Thessalonians 5:8-9

There is much in the Bible about how God will bring judgment and destruction on the world for turning its back on God. But we who believe will be spared. Our confidence in our salvation is our spiritual protection, along with faith and love. Let these truths and virtues protect and sustain you today. You are saved! God will never pour out his anger on you! He has already redirected it to Jesus. For you who trust this is so, he has only love and grace.
