Recipe of the day

Veggies Italian Style:
2 to 4 cups brocolli florets
1/2 cup virgin olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 tablespoons chopped basil
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 small clove garlic, minced

Put brocolli in the microwave, add 2-3 tablespoons water in dish, cover & cook on high 2-3 minutes. remove cover & immediately fill bowl with ice. Add water to the top of bowl, set aside.
In a seperate bowl, combine remaining ingrediants, whick to dissolve sugar & salt. Drain brocolli into colander, transfer to serving dish. Drizzle with other ingredients & stir to coat.
